What counts as a lesson? One newly completed lesson package. Each generated lesson within a Unit Study counts separately. Your allowance is shared across your household; separately generated lessons for different children each count. Reopening and printing saved lessons do not use your allowance.
Allowances reset monthly and do not roll over. Upgrade when you need more, with a prorated charge shown before confirmation and the same monthly renewal date. Existing subscribers keep their current price and receive their tier’s new lesson allowance.

What if my child is at different levels in different subjects?
That is part of the picture. Your child's age gives Pirch context, while parent check-ins help establish starting points in individual subjects. You can review and adjust those details as you learn more about what fits.
What comes with a lesson?
A lesson package brings together student pages, visual aids, a parent guide, materials lists, book suggestions, and related resources. The contents and length vary with the lesson. Books, supplies, and paid third-party resources are not included in a membership.
Can I use Pirch alongside the curriculum we already have?
Yes. Use a lesson to explore a new interest, spend more time on a skill, or bring a hands-on project into your week. You can also build connected Unit Studies and organize them in your child's hub.
Is Pirch a complete, fixed curriculum?
Pirch is a flexible homeschool planning and lesson-creation tool with a broad skills framework. Your child's path depends on the starting points, subjects, and lessons you choose. Parents review the materials and decide what meets their family's learning needs; creating a lesson does not prove a skill has been mastered.
Can I try a sample before creating an account?
Yes. Open the real lesson preview to browse student pages and a visual teaching reference. You can also request one free personalized, three-page mini unit per email using the form on this page. The mini unit is a smaller sample of the full lesson experience.
How do paid plans work?
Seedling is $19/month for 3 new lessons, Sprout is $39 for 7, Nest is $69 for 13, and Roost is $109 for 22. Lessons are shared across your household, with a fresh allowance each billing month. Existing subscribers keep their current price and receive their tier’s new lesson allowance.
What can I try for free after login?
Create one completed lesson package free, with no card required. You can plan a Unit Study and generate its first lesson. Choose a subscription to generate additional lessons. This free lesson has no 14-day deadline.
What happens when I use all my lessons?
You can keep using and printing saved lessons. Wait for your monthly allowance to reset, or upgrade to a higher plan. Monthly upgrades show the prorated charge before confirmation, keep your renewal date, and carry forward lessons already used.
Can I print lessons and use Google Calendar?
Pirch offers printable lesson downloads and a family calendar with day, week, and month views. A Google Calendar connection is available in the app. You can organize lessons for each child and choose the days that work for your family.
